Lock It Up...

...But Don't Throw Away The Key!

The past couple of weeks haven't had a lot of movement in terms of individual tasks, but the movement has been happening, and keeping us happy!

The white set inside has now been completed, opening the house right up.

The windows and sliding doors have all gone in, including my much-loved triple stacker doors to the Alfresco!

Loving our front elevation more every time it changes!

Plenty of Summer fun to be had out there!

And we now have lock-up, with the installation of the timber entry doors, and the garage shopper door. Its bitter-sweet as it means no more leisurely tours for our friends and family, but it is great as it means we're inching closer to the finish line!

Today saw the grano laid to the Alfresco, despite the rainy weather.

Can't wait to see the tiles laid on the Alfresco

Plenty of room!

The supervisor has assured me that ceilings are due to commence tomorrow or Thursday , so that will be exciting, and he apologised profusely for not having them in 2 weeks ago when they were due to go in. With all the wet weather we've had in the past fortnight, I'm ecstatic the ceilings haven't gone in until the house was locked up so that the board didn't have too much moisture getting into it.

The cabinets are booked to be installed next Friday 6-May, so that will be exciting to see! I just hope they look as great as I imagine!

Stay tuned!!

  1. How exciting it must be to be at lock up stage .... not long now! And your double doors are stunning way to make an entrance :)
